Muddy Monday!

The mild temperatures and overnight rain created some delicious mud for stomping, squishing and scooping, examining creature foot prints, and using sticks to mix up 'cement' to create a fortress wall with sticks standing tall. We also spotted a bird's nest up high in the bare tree, which the kids decided was a 'tiny nest for tiny birds.' There was time for a hike to the waterfall bridge to experiment dropping in natural items on one side and watching for them to appear on the other side!
