Using our sense of touch to explore outside!

Nature provides endless experiences for learning through the sense of touch...smooth, rough, wet, dry, bumpy, sticky, gooey - these were just some of the words we used to describe what discovered this week!  We observed and examined fuzzy green caterpillars, cicada exoskeletons, and even a luna moth caterpillar! We created art with natural items and tempera paint and liquid watercolors. And as always, we got muddy and dirty working with the earth!
