As we immerse ourselves in nature, relaxing, playing and exploring, we have been paying particular attention to the plants growing around us! On our wild plant hikes with Elisa, we have discovered and identified wild spinach and plantain, talking about what each plant looks like and it's many uses (plantain is an antiseptic which can be crushed and soothe bug bites!) This growing awareness and gratitude can also be inspired in planting our own seeds to grow. Combining our recent studies of both earth and wind, we used funnels to put seeds, soil and water in clear balloons to create our own green house environments for germinating seeds!
