Summer 2026 photos coming soon!
Wednesday!
We hiked with our magnifying glasses into the woods, climbing and balancing on fallen logs. We collected acorn caps, leaves, and sticks to use with clay, and spotted three red tailed hawks soaring above us. The kids also used their muscle and squeezed lemons to make lemonade!
Creativity with clay!
Working with clay (which comes from deep in the earth!) and natural materials!
Hiking and cooking!
We adventured into the 'forest' collecting more sticks and branches than we could carry, listening to the squirrels scurry through the leaves and the birds singing above...We also took turns pouring, measuring, and mixing together trail mix for snack!
Painting, dancing, singing, and digging under the trees!
On a summer-like day, we searched for and collected leaves, sticks, rocks and acorns to experiment painting with. And Doug stopped by with his guitar to lead us in some nature inspired singing and dancing!
