Building train tracks in the dirt and repairing them with sticks, leaf rolling, bucket balancing and carrying huge branches!
We enjoyed some serious snow play (the wet heavy snow was ideal for sculpting!) and spotted multiple signs of spring - worms, witch hazel blooms, robins and a female downy woodpecker!
"There was a tiny snowman, who had a carrot nose. Along came a bunny, and what to you suppose? That hungry little bunny was looking for her lunch. She grabbed the snowman's carrot nose and went 'Nibble, Nibble, CRUNCH!"
Snow, warm sunshine, and rain all filled our week together outside! Our days were filled with hill running and rolling, turtle spotting, worm finding, snow sculpting, drum and singing circles, waterfall hikes, and building tools with sticks! It was a lovely week to connect and play with each other!
All we need to play, laugh, and learn together!
